Your privacy
Privacy without the puzzle.
Most tools run entirely in your browser. When a tool needs an external data service, we explain that clearly beside it.
Information you enter
Most tools process input locally on your device. We do not require an account and do not build a profile from your calculations.
Local audio editing
After you choose Prepare audio, the Audio Effects tool downloads approximately 32 MB of verified FFmpeg files from jsDelivr. It receives connection information, not your recording. Waveform analysis, effects and MP3/WAV creation run locally. Recordings and results are not uploaded or saved in persistent browser storage by this tool. Engine downloads may be cached.
Local video cutting
After you choose Prepare cutting engine or Inspect recording, the Video Cutter or CCTV Video Compatibility Checker downloads verified FFmpeg engine files from jsDelivr. The provider receives connection information, not your video. Video processing happens in a background worker on your device; our tool does not upload videos or save them in persistent browser storage. The engine files may be cached by the browser.
Internet speed tests
The Internet Speed Test loads an external Meter.net panel only after you choose Load speed test. Meter.net receives your IP address and connection information. Running the test transfers test data directly to and from its servers and can use a substantial amount of your data allowance. Our tool does not save the results. Closing the panel does not undo information already shared. See the Meter.net privacy policy.
Gift suggestions
After you agree and generate ideas, Gift Finder sends your description, exclusions, budget, age group, occasion and previous idea titles through our server to Cloudflare Workers AI. Our application does not save these descriptions or results. To enforce usage limits, a database stores daily counts and daily-changing keyed hashes of network addresses, not raw addresses. Records older than two days are deleted when the next request is processed. Cloudflare also handles connection information under its own policies. Avoid entering names or sensitive personal information. Country suggestions use approximate connection country, not GPS. Opening a shop or venue search shares its search terms and your connection information with that service.
Cloudflare Workers AI data usage
MOT history checks
When you use the MOT History Checker, the vehicle registration is sent securely through our server to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) to retrieve the public MOT record. We do not save the registration or returned MOT history. DVSA processes the request under its own privacy arrangements.
Local AI background removal
Only after you press Remove background does this tool download its model from Hugging Face and processing engine from jsDelivr. Those providers receive your IP address and download request, not your photos. Processing takes place on your device. Verified model and engine files may be stored in your browser cache; the tool provides a button to remove these saved downloads. Photos and cutouts are not uploaded or placed in persistent browser storage by this tool.
Photo location maps
The Photo GPS & Map Viewer reads the photograph locally without uploading it. Only when you choose to load or open a map are the saved coordinates shared with OpenStreetMap, or with Google Maps when you open directions. These services also receive your IP address and process requests under their own privacy policies. The photograph itself is not sent to them by this tool. Resetting or closing a map does not undo data already shared.
Advertising and referral links
We do not currently display advertising. Some pages may contain clearly labelled referral links. If you follow one, the destination service may use cookies or similar technology to attribute the referral under its own privacy policy. We do not place a referral cookie before you choose to follow that link.
Analytics and cookies
The cookie choices panel stores your preferences locally in your browser. If you allow analytics, we create a random identifier on that browser and record the pages it visits so we can count page views, estimate unique visitors and see which tools are useful. We do not store raw IP addresses in the analytics database, use the identifier for advertising or follow you onto other websites. The identifier is an estimate of a browser, not a person, and analytics records are kept for up to 400 days. Analytics stays off unless you choose to enable it.

Contact and advertising enquiries
The form tells you if message delivery is currently available. When enabled, the information you submit is passed through our server and Resend to our OVHcloud email inbox to handle your enquiry. Your reply email, message and any optional details you provide are included. Problem reports also include the named tool or page, browser family, viewport size and site version so we can reproduce the fault; they never automatically include your tool entries, filenames or uploaded files. We do not save message contents in the website database or add you to a marketing list. Our email providers process and may retain the messages under their service arrangements. We keep correspondence as needed to handle the enquiry and any related legal obligations. To deter spam, we store daily submission counts and daily-changing keyed network identifiers, not raw IP addresses, in our database; records older than two days are removed on subsequent submissions. Failed delivery attempts may count towards limits. Please do not send sensitive files, passwords or identity documents. Resend privacy information.
