Which format should I choose?
WOFF2 is the compact web-font choice. WOFF supports older web workflows. The desktop option restores TTF or OTF according to the original outlines; it does not redesign the letters.
Does conversion change the font licence?
No. Check permission with the font supplier before converting, embedding or sharing. Original name and licence tables are retained. Additional WOFF metadata and private blocks are not copied, and signed fonts are rejected.
Which fonts are supported?
Static, single-colour outline fonts up to 5 MB, expanding to no more than 20 MB. Collections, variable, colour and bitmap fonts are not supported. Unsupported sample characters may be shown using a fallback font.
