Review names, places, “I” and acronyms afterwards: this changes letter case, not grammar. Sentence case also capitalises each new line and may misread abbreviations. Title case uses simple English rules.

Frequently asked questions

What is Text Case Converter useful for?

Switch between uppercase, lowercase, sentence case and title case. Validate a small sample before processing important data, and keep a copy of the original input.

Is my information stored?

Your text is processed locally in a browser worker. It is not uploaded by this tool or saved in browser storage. Clear releases the working input and result. Downloads remain in your normal download folder.

Will it recognise names and acronyms?

No. Sentence and title case first lowercase the text. Check names, places, the pronoun I and acronyms yourself. Sentence case capitalises the first letter, new lines and letters following sentence-ending punctuation; abbreviations can be misread.

How does title case work?

Each word starts with a capital, except common short English words such as a, an, the, and, of and in. The first and last word of each line are always capitalised. This is a simple style, not a publisher-specific grammar checker.

Will formatting or other languages change?

Spaces, punctuation and line breaks remain, but fonts and rich formatting are not carried across. Uppercase and lowercase use standard Unicode conversion, not language-specific rules. Some letters can expand, such as ß becoming SS. Downloads contain only your converted text.
